Uh oh…

According to Daniel Sanchez of the Ludwig von Mises Institute, Gary Johnson opposes privatizing FEMA.  Add this to my list of reasons why Johnson is no Ron Paul.  (As Sanchez notes, on FEMA, Johnson is even less of a libertarian than Mitt Romney!)

Compared to his good positions on say, taxes and the drug war, this is a relatively minor flaw.  It isn’t enough to make me recant my support for him.  But on the margins, it makes my support somewhat more equivocal.  Of course, writing in Ron Paul is a great option too, if you’re still on the fence.
